Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you access it, technical data such as the time, requested file, browser details and IP address are processed to deliver and protect the site. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is reliable and secure operation.
Contact and enquiries
When you contact us through the form or by email, we process your information, including name, company, email address, selections and message, to respond and handle your enquiry. Enquiries are sent to our STRATO mailbox and also forwarded to Microsoft 365; a copy remains with STRATO. Retention depends on the purpose of processing and any applicable legal retention obligations. Processing or access outside the EEA cannot be excluded when Microsoft 365 is used. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual enquiries and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding to you.
Technical storage
Your selections about your plans, markets and services may be stored in browser session storage for the session so they can be carried to the contact page. Names, email addresses and messages are not stored there. The form uses temporary pseudonymised technical counters to prevent abuse.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, as well as the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority. Contact us at info@digimaniac.de.
Microsoft 365 and international transfers
We use Microsoft 365 to handle email. The provider for EEA customers is Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. The Microsoft admin centre currently reports Germany as the storage location for Exchange Online. Operation and support may nevertheless involve access or transfers outside the EEA. Microsoft provides information about processing and international transfers in its privacy statement.
Automatic language selection
When you visit the main address, your IP address is used to determine your country so that a suitable language version can be displayed. This lookup takes place on our server using a local DB-IP database; your IP address is not sent to DB-IP for this purpose. Separate location logging is disabled. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is providing the website in a suitable language. You can select a language yourself at any time.
